DESCRIPTION:Join us to celebrate the return of the migratory Bald Eagles! Each winter\, eagles overwinter along the shores of Millerton Reservoir. This is a free\, easy 2-to-3 mile hike to view these magnificent birds. Guides Judy J and George F are avid birders who loves to share their passion and knowledge with the public. PLEASE NOTE: While bald eagle sightings are highly likely\, they are not guaranteed. We will be meeting at the River Center (11605 Old Friant Rd\, Fresno\, CA) at 8:30 am\, and will carpool to Millerton from there. Please dress appropriately for a day outdoors (long pants\, closed toed shoes\, etc.) and bring sunscreen\, binoculars\, and water. Leader(s) will have some loaner binoculars available. This is a rain or shine event. Children 12+ welcome\, no dogs please.
