The Weekend Youth Naturalist Program aims to equip the next generation with skills to be natural explorers and stewards of the Earth through fun, exploratory learning activities. Each 2.5 hour trip includes a nature hike, scientific exploration activity, game, and sensory or experiential activity at a property along the San Joaquin River Parkway. This adventure requires your child to be between the ages of 6 and 9 to participate. Please note that there is a $15 fee per child and advanced registration with online payment is required for participation. Parents are required to stay on site for the duration of the trip, and are encouraged to assist with social distancing and participate in activities with their Youth Naturalists. Purchase the 2022 Spring season pass and save 15%! Season pass includes 2/5, 3/5, 4/2, and 5/7 dates. Program registration closes at 9 am on the day of the event. Full refunds provided for cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance; no refunds for no shows.
